TINA: The Tina Turner Musical
Description
“It’s really important to me to have the chance to share my full story. This musical is not about my stardom. It is about the journey I took to get there. Each night I want audiences to take away from the theatre that you can turn poison into medicine.” TINA TURNER

Built in 1905, the Aldwych Theatre was constructed as a pair of the Novello Theatre by designer W. G. R. Sprague. Despite being constructed together and designed by the same architect, the two theatres were funded and managed by different entities. The theatre has hosted numerous musical comedies in its early years, including the production Blue Bell, which starred Mr. Hicks.
Featuring an Edwardian Baroque style, the Aldwych Theatre is a visual delight. The theatre became renowned for the quality of the shows produced, particularly the series of comedies that played at the theatre starting in 1925.
